Monotreme Press (formally Kantor Publishing) is the proud publisher of gifted storytellers and quality works. With over 40 years of collective experience, we believe that literature fuels the imagination and steers the soul. Every shelf holds a book teeming with adventure, refection, and mystery. At Monotreme Press, we relish the opportunity to publish across numerous genres and put utmost care and enthusiasm toward every book we release.

Monotreme Press' origins stem from Daniel Skrzelarski's (our editor-in-chief) will to bring interesting voices to the page and sharing those voices with the public. While working for Schwabe and Random House in the 1980s, Daniel envisioned publishing a collection of quality, aesthetically pleasing books that were both affordable and enjoyable to the general public. However, his dream was put on hold when he took on the role of Znak's marketing supervisor. Years later, Daniel was able to partially fulfill his dream, with a short lived Kantor Publishing, which focused on tabletop role-playing fantasy and science fiction guides. With Monotreme Press, he and the team can finally bring readers intriguing and original stories with a beautiful outer finish.

Daniel Skrzelarski
Daniel has worked in the publishing industry for over 25 years. He's worked with libraries and distributors in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Poland.
Julie Mallcom
Julie has been an editor and format specialist for over 10 years. She's worked on hundreds of fiction and nonfiction books, as well as numerous articles and pamphlets.
Cedo Damonzalli
Cedo has been a graphic designer for over 10 years. In the past, he designed logos, book and album covers, and magazine and digital advertisements.
